It’s 6:15AM, and by 10AM, I will be heading to the arrival area of the Ninoy Aquino International Airport to meet up with my friend K. Today marks the start of our 10-day holiday and I am so excited!

Well, excited as I am, I feel a little paranoid and scared, too, because this will be the first time that I will ride a plane. Has anyone heard of Alanis Morissette’s “Ironic”? I don’t want that to happen. Anyway, today is rest day (for K) and possibly shopping day, then tomorrow we will go to Rizal Park (and other nearby places), as well as at La Loma Cemetery. Then we will go to Vigan, and as soon as we get back to Manila, we will fly to Bohol then take a boat to Dumaguete. We’ve arranged the timeline already, so the thing to do now was to make sure we get the flights we wanted so that the time line won’t be broken.

The Vigan part of the trip was still not finalized. It was the most flexible part of the trip - either we do it on Monday or we do it after we got back in Manila from Dumaguete. K and I will surely talk about this over dinner later.

I am asking for prayers for our safe travel. May we have a great accident-free vacation. I will be back on the 12th, so this blog might not be updated that much, but I am asking my sister to update the blogs once in a while, because 10 days is a long time to be gone. This will be my last trip for this year (unless the family decides to do the Ilocos Trip in December), so for sure I will be taking care of the blogs and update it everyday when I get back home.
