Even before we all went to Pangasinan, Uncle Pete already asked Aunt Mary to find for a resort for us to stay at. Aunt Mary knew staying at the well known resorts like Punta Riviera and/or Puerto del Sol would cost Uncle Pete a fortune, so Aunt Mary looked for other options.

Days before the vacation, I have been chanting and chanting hoping we would stay in Puerto del Sol resort, because I have seen so many pictures of the resort and I am sure to have a blast should we stay there, but while we were on the road going to the place Aunt Mary chose, I started feeling sad that we passed by Puerto del Sol! But, I did understand that we were a lot in this vacation, I am sure Uncle Pete wouldn’t have that much money to pay for all the charges.

What Aunt Mary chose was a private beach house. 24-hour stay only cost 1700PhP (38USD) for all of us! The fee included free stay at a nipa house and the cottages. A total steal, actually. The minute I got out of the vehicle, I immediately dropped my bags in the nipa hut and checked out the view instantly. It was my first time there, and upon seeing the place, I agreed to what my late father said, “It was a paradise,” indeed.

Some pictures:

*** This is the initial view of the sea. Oh my gosh, it was so beautiful! ***

Tumbaga Beach House
*** The hut where we stayed at. Uncle Pete’s visitors stayed at a different hut, while the others didn’t really stay overnight for they still have to prepare for the prayer service for grandpa. This has two bedrooms that would fit four people in each room and a nice terrace to lounge at. ***

*** Me along the shore. I truly cannot resist not to check out the view! ***

*** Just two of some of the nipa huts for rent in the area. Of all the pictures I’ve taken in the olace, this is my favorite. ***

We didn’t stay in Puerto del Sol for sure, but we were still in paradise! I truly loved our stay here because we practically had the beach by ourselves! Because summer has already ended, we were the only ones in the beach house, and although there were other people in the next beach house (the street has rows of different beach houses and resorts), most of the time, it was just us soaking up the sun.

More stories from the vacation in the days to come. Thank you for taking the time to visit my site.
