Place: Quirino Bridge (Bantay, Ilocos Sur)

I actually joined Scenic Sunday last week, but the host was out that week, so technically, this is my first Scenic Sunday.

This is the Quirino Bridge in Bantay, Ilocos Sur. This bridge connects the two parts of the province. I personally love bridges (especially those interesting such as this), and I always have the tendency to check what’s the view from the sides of the bridges, and this one had one of the best bridge sceneries I have ever seen!

I was fortunate that I already had a camera phone when we passed by the place again so I get to “take home” that wonderful scenery - at least through a picture. Truth be told, it’s hard to take a shot of that scenery because there are bridge railings and the bus was running, but I was blessed that day because I got to capture this:

Ain’t it great? One of the reasons why I love coming back to this place! Both pictures were taken by my Sony Ericsson K800i phone and I am sorry if the colors were a bit bland and that there was a dried water drop stain on the second picture because these pictures were taken from the bus’ window.

Weekend just finished… hope we will all have a great week ahead!
