Yesterday was Mothers’ Day, but I didn’t forget it, it’s just that I have already greeted my mom in my other blog, so I decided to just run a belated greeting here. Since this is my travel blog, I will just post some pictures of me and mom taken the last two months.

Pictures taken on Villa Escudero, 29 March 2008. The one on the left was taken on the grounds of the villa, while waiting for some of my mom’s officemate before we took the carabao ride back to the main receiving area. This picture was shot by my mom’s best friend (and my sister’s godmother), tita Celia. The one on the right was taken inside the Coconut Pavillon where we took a cup of rich, good coffee (so delicious, especially with muscovado sugar). It was also the venue for the Cultural Show, so we just lounged there before the show started. This picture was taken by mom’s officemate, tita Anne. Both pictures were taken using my brother’s Canon Powershot A470 digital camera.

Our first taste of the pool this summer! Self portrats taken 18 April 2008 in Dream Land Resort in Camarin, Caloocan City, mom and I were both happy this trip pushed through. Both images captured by my Sony Ericsson K800i cellphone, set on Twilight Portrait.

The latest pool pictures of mom and me, these pictures were taken 26 April 2008, when the neighbor friends went on a summer get-together in Stonebridge Resort - Sta. Maria, Bulacan. The picture on the right was taken by my sister, while the one on the left is another self-portrait shot. Taken using my cell phone, set on auto.

To my ever dearest mommy, happy mothers’ day to you! Thanks for being the best mother you could be to me and my siblings. I appreciate all your care and love for us, and I couldn’t ask God for more. Thank you for being a good friend to me, and thank you for being you. May we celebrate more mothers’ day.
