Allow me to take a break from my vacation recap to give way to this very important announcement:

If ever you’d pass by an Italianni’s branch, I bet you already saw that banner. Quite intriguing, eh? Well, it is actually true. Each and every time you’d dine in any Italianni’s branch, don’t be surprised if ever a staff would be bringing in foods in your table when you didn’t order something like that anyway. And don’t think it’s the foccacia bread, okay? From what I know it’s an Italianni’s custom to serve you a complimentary foccaccia bread with olive oil and balsamic vinegar dip, so it’s certainly not the “extra” I am talking about.

I am talking about extra food items that would complete your Italianni’s dining experience. The restaurant already started the promo sometime in May, wherein they would check the foods you ordered and give you something to fill in that gap. For example, you ordered pasta and dessert, they might give you a salad, or maybe they would give you some dessert if ever you didn’t order one. These extras are “on the house,” and this isn’t just a one-time experience. Every time you dine, they would give you a little extra. Now, if ever you think you ordered a complete meal — from appetizers down to the desserts, they might give you the vodka shooters in fun colors instead. Now, that’s a sweet extra treat! These extra treats are the management’s prerogative. They will do the choosing (based on your order, of course), but you can take out the extras if you’re already full. =)

Yesterday, I was one of the selected bloggers who got to experience the treat in their Bonifacio High Street (the Fort) branch, and believe me, the extras are really great! The servings of the extra foods aren’t itty bitty — they come in full servings, as if you ordered them from the menu! Some of these treats include: salad, pasta, sangria, baked mussels, salmon & marinated crostinis, vodka shooters, and of course, dessert.

At this time when prices of goods are going up by the minute, don’t you think it’s time to give yourself and your wallet a treat? If you’re craving some good Italian food, I suggest you head to the nearest Italianni’s restaurant now. They have 12 branches — Greenbelt 2, Glorietta 4, SM Mall of Asia, SM Megamall, Greenhills, Tomas Morato, Eastwood City, Gateway, Alabang Town Center, Bonifacio High Street, Trinoma and recently at Robinson’s Midtown in Malate.
