Place: Italianni’s Bonifacio High Street (The Fort, Taguig)

My previous entry talked about the bloggers’ treat I had from Burger King, but the first treat I had was the one for Italianni’s Extra Treat last June.

It came about one day, when I opened my Multiply Page and saw an ad from the Inbox. The ad said that Yehey! is giving away free lunch for selected bloggers, and right there and then I e-mailed my name, blog URL, and contact details. It was about 7AM, and by 6PM, I already received my confirmation e-mail telling me I was in!

It was my first time to go to the Fort, and after knowing my sister had no classes, I tagged her along with me. We had a hard time looking for the place, but a very kind bank security guard showed us the way. We got in the place around 11AM, and I was happy that the admin had no problem with my sister being with me. It was still early, so I took some pictures from the place:

When there were enough participants, the event started. Katrina interviewed me (as well as some of the bloggers), asking me about my experiences in blogging, how I knew about the event, etc. I got to meet a lot bloggers, but was close to Jonel, Juned, Fran, and Azrael because we were sharing the same table. They already knew each other, but I didn’t feel out of place because all of us shared a good chat. There were games, but I didn’t win because I wasn’t able to bring any of the “extra” items asked.

The best part of it was the lunch itself. They served so many foods and oh my, I was so full! They served a lot and here’s what I can say about the foods I got to taste:

The treat talks about “extra,” and I got to taste lots of extra foods not listed in the menu. I loved sharing the “wows” with my co-bloggers, and I had a very pleasurable time sharing foods with them. I am happy my sister got to share in the fun with me.

To everyone behind the event and to the bloggers I’ve met, thanks for the great time. This gastronomic experience will surely be at the top of my list. I am so happy to receive a reward from my blogging. Let’s all see each other in the next bloggers’ event.
