Enchanted Cave

While having lunch, Aunt Mary shared stories about the time she and her husband checked out different resorts and shared this story about the Enchanted Cave. Upon knowing that this cave was the place where the local soap opera “Dyesebel” (Philippine version of “the Little Mermaid”) was shooting, and mom was so interested in checking it out as well.

Towards late afternoon, my skin was aching bad that I decided to go out and change clothes. I still would want to go back to the beach later, so I just wore the clothes I wore the day before. I was singing my heart out with my uncles (karaoke), when mom called on me telling we would be checking out the caves before the sun set. Of course, it would be another great opportunity for me, so I didn’t bother changing clothes anymore. I just returned the microphone and I was already in the vehicle! =)

It took us about 5 - 7 minutes before reaching the cave. Entrance is at 20 pesos, and visitors are allowed to take a dip in the crystal clear waters. Too bad we didn’t take some plastic wrapping for the vehicle, and we didn’t take extra clothes with us. If we did, for sure we wouldn’t waste time and we’d jump on the water! The only thing we could do was take pictures and dip our feet in the water. Water’s really cold and refreshing. Too bad we weren’t able to swim on it!

Hmmm.. could we forget taking our pictures in the area? Of course not!

It was a very great visit, but unfortunate we weren’t able to fully enjoy it. Mom and I just promised that the next time we get to go there, we would satisfy ourselves dipping and swimming. Here’s to a great week ahead!
