As promised, here are more pictures from the town of Agoo…

weekend snapshots

Museo Iloko

This is the facade of the Museo Iloko, which is, sadly, no longer operational. Brother and I were really sad to know about this because we really were looking forward to see things and read information about our province. A man we asked said that the stuffs inside the museum has been transferred to another location, and even if we asked him the location where it was transferred, we don’t have any idea, too! =)

Agoo Park

This one is part of the Imelda Park, or what used to be called Imelda Park. Now, it goes with a different name, which I have forgotten already (silly me)! It’s a circular park that has lots of benches around. Perfect for rollerblading! =)

Jollibee Mural

I have eaten in a lot of Jollibee establishments, but this was the first time I saw a cartoon mural like this! Drawn by the renowed comic artist Larry Alcala, this is one of the cartoon murals inside the food place. I chose to show this one because I loved that “Chocolate Hills…. we also serve coffee” thing on the upper right part of the cartoon. Funny eh?

Eagle of the North

The eagle of the north. That’s what I call a big bird! Hehehehe… This one, located along the Jose Aspiras Highway, this basically is the one welcoming you as you go to Baguio City via Marcos Highway. I forgot to read the information by the base of the sculpture, so that’s just what I know about this one. All I know is that it was much better to take a picture of the eagle on the other side, but a dead branch of a tree was on the eagle’s head blocking the view.

Knocked Out

Last shot. Although not greatly affected by Typhoon Cosme, this town is one of those affected. I am not sure if this house was hit, but for sure the mango tree was knocked out by the storm!

These pictures don’t really depict the whole town, but guess there were enough to take you on a short trip to the place. Have a great week ahead, everyone!
