Mitotic Interval at Different Temperature in Large Yellow Croaker Pseudosciaena crocea (Richardson)

In this paper,the timing of 1st cleavage(τI) and mitotic interval(τ0) at different temperatures were determined in Large Yellow Croaker Pseudosciaena crocea.The higher the temperature,the 1st cleavage was faster,about 3.1 min faster with every 1 ℃ increased.The relations between τI and temperature was fit using the first-order exponential decay regression equation.τ0 was shorter when the temperature rose.The relations between τ0 and temperature was fit too.The ratio of τI/τo ranged from 2.24 to 2.91,which increased with the temperature.The results would provide a foundation to improve the technique for chromosome manipulation in Large Yellow Croaker.
