Some reflections on work of teacher ideology in higher education

This paper discusses problems of ideological work of university teachers from the perspectives of teacher status and functions in education and through comparisons between international education experience.The authors hold that the work on teacher ideology plays a very important role in idelogical work of schools of higher learning and that teacher ideological work must be“teacher-based”.The paper further proposes a fundamental approach to the teacher ideological work in a new creativity-valued era.
