Viscosity Measurement of Refrigerant/Refrigeration Oil Mixture by Vibrating-rod Method

Kinematic viscosity was one of the key technical indicators of lubricating oil,which could reflect thelubricity of lubricating oil to a certain extent.But it could not accurately judge the lubrication status of refrigeratoronly based on the kinematic viscosity of refrigerating oil. Because refrigerant oil and refrigerant dissolve intorefrigerant/refrigerant mixture in the refrigerator,the refrigerant oil was diluted,the kinematic viscosity decreasedsignificantly,and the lubrication performance decreased with it.In order to predict the lubricity of refrigerant oil,itwas necessary to measure the kinematic viscosity of refrigerant/refrigerant oil mixture under actual workingconditions.For this purpose,a vibrating-rod method for measuring the kinematic viscosity of refrigerant/refrigerantmixtures was developed.The relative deviation of this method was within± 3.0%. It could be used to predict thelubricity of refrigeration oil in refrigerators and to develop new refrigeration oil.(Charts3 Tables2 References3)
