Development and outlook for busbar arrangement of aluminum reduction pots

As one of the core technologies of aluminum reduction pots, the busbar arrangement affects the technological development of aluminum reduction pots. Along with the fast development of aluminum reduction pot technology since the 1990 s, the domestic busbar arrangement and design of aluminum reduction pots has achieved rapid progress, as evidenced by the development of 160 kA, 190/200 kA, 230 kA, 300 kA, 350 kA, 400 kA, 500 kA and 600 kA busbar arrangement. The continuous improvement of busbar design and simulation technology has provided favorable technical support for domestic aluminum technology to move towards the global benchmark.
