The Comparison of Polycentricity of Urban Agglomerations in China from the Perspective of Firm Interlocking Network
LI Tao;ZHANG Yi'na;
Based on advanced producer service firms and interlocking network model,this paper analyses the polycentricity within and beyond urban agglomerations in China from three spatial scales( global,national and regional). Four features have been identified.First,the urban agglomerations which are constituted by multi-provinces and municipalities directly under the central government show the characteristics of polycentricity. Second,as the spatial scales expand from the regional to national and global,the polycentricity decreases and the primacy ratio increases. Third,the polycentricity of some urban agglomerations changes a lot in 2006-2015 and these changes are also scale-sensitive. Fourth,the clustering analysis has been done from the perspectives of polycentricity and primacy ratio.
